There are three work modes with remote control: 1. Light sensor: charges during the day and turns on at night automatically. 2. PIR sensor: turns on at night automatically and keeps dim (30% brightness) when there is no people around, changes to full-bright (15 seconds) when people walk near. 3. Without light sensor: Press On/Off button to turn it on/off at any time.
